THE DOUBLE BASS Fly passive
The electric double bass MK mod.FLY-P passive(P) has been designed for those who have to travel frequently by plane, equipped with a very solid and compact hard case suitable for air transport into the luggage compartment.
Instrument divisible into two parts has a small acoustic chamber, maple neck, basic rosewood fingerboard, adjustable action through neck inclination, overall length of 145cm when assembled, weight of 6kg.
The way in which the instrument is assembled is very simple and intuitive, in a few minutes you are ready to tune and play.
First of all tip is extracted taking care to insert the steel wire's tuning paddle, body is inserted into the tripod supplied, then neck is joined to the body by inserting the appropriate fixing support.
Once these simple operations are completed, frames are mounted, strings are passed over the bridge and tuning begins.
During this step you can adjust the action as desired by turning the screw on the back of the instrument.
At the end of your performances, all you have to do is proceed in reverse order to have the instrument reduced into the transport case.
A padded case is optional for transporting the assembled instrument for shorter journeys.
